Essential compilation of music from 80s dream-pop pioneers, A.R. Kane! A huge influence on Andrew Weatherall (who covered one of their tunes ‘A Love From Outer Space’ and naming his club night, similarly).

This release collates the three most astonishing works from that most miraculous of duos - A.R. Kane - comprising the ‘Up Home’ EP from 1988 that signified the band’s dawning realisation of their own powers and possibilities, their legendary debut LP ‘sixty nine’ (1988) and its kaleidoscopic, prophetic double-LP follow up ‘i’ (1989).

The group later formed MARRS with members of Colourbox and DJs CJ Mackintosh and Dave Dorrell for their international pop/house music hit ‘Pump Up The Volume’.
