Awesome leftfield classic! A Harvey fave!
Delicate Balearic minimal synth oddity!
Originally released on Les Disques du Crepuscule, but now given a reissue on Numero, this is the iconic debut album by Antena! Drawing on a range of influences from the likes of Kraftwerk and Suicide all the way to Latin/Brazilian touches such as Gilberto Gil and Antonio Carlos Jobim, the album includes the cult single remake of Stan Getz/Astrud Gilbertos' 1964 version of "The Boy From Ipanema" produced by Ultravox frontman John Foxx. The album also contains a special sleeve booklet with excellent liner notes about the bands history.
Essential Buy!!!
