"Beyond the Clouds" was recorded from a live session near the heart of Detroit using hand crafted modular synthesizers, analog devices and custom made effects units.  In this Live version of cv313's classic, the modular recordings were separated, dissected in the mix and dubbed out with a litany of analog effects. During this performance there was a mystical element in the air, strobe lights, vaporous gas and electric dreams. A connection felt with the dancers, a groove beyond a groove, it is that magical essence of Japan. This was a night to remember, recorded live in Tokyo with love.
