From the 70s Krautrock scene, Peter Michael Hamel emerged as a visionary who worked and studied with alongside John Cage, Morton Feldman and Terry Riley. Here, his dreamy 1980 album 'Colours Of Time' is re-imagined by legendary techno producer, Wolfgang Voigt and Detroit dub-techno producer Deepchord. Voigt's version is beatless and vaporous, akin to his GAS releases, as does Deepchord, who plunges the original version into the murky, ambient depths.
