• 1. We Love Big Lights

Tribute continue to chart deeper, funkier and more Balearic musical territories with their mighty DJ-friendly reworks.

For the latest edition, cut & paste duties are rumoured to be supplied by none other than Keep Schtum (the man behind the amazing 'Hang Together' remake) and he serves up a serious slice of dancefloor-driven disco-funk sleaze on "We Love Big Lights", an extended edit of the Average White Band's 1978 gem "Big City Lights". The track seriously gets its groove on early doors, with a grooving mid-tempo southern boogie disco-funk style flow, then adding a spoken word naration about the birth of disco (presumably by AWB themselves). As with previous Tribute tracks, we have to wait a while for the real action to take place, and thee quarters of the way through the full falsetto vocal, strings and horns arrive. Wow!
