Published in 1972, this book gives a very interesting perspective on the evolution of electronic music. It's not a howto book, or a physics book, but an amazing list of composers and their ifluences, from Schubert, back in the 19th century, to Karlheinz Stockhausen, developing new composition paradigms for future composers.
