Horus Records was founded in 2013 by Will Dorey (Skinshape) and Ben Bell, born from their shared obsession with vintage Jamaican music. Initially a reissue label spotlighting rare reggae, it has since become a home for original studio recordings informed by enduring 60s and 70s Jamaican reggae and dub traditions.

The pair have been making music together for over twenty years, and their history within the scene has led to ongoing collaborations with respected Jamaican musicians. Those connections carry into this analogue reggae/dub studio album, featuring guest vocal contributions from Andy Platts, Modou Touré and Winston Reedy. The record fuses original compositions with thoughtful reinterpretations — including a reggae reworking of the ‘Interstellar’ theme.
