    Shaft Starring Richard Roundtree (1971)

    The seminal blaxploitation film, won awards at the Oscars, BAFTA's and Goldon Globe award in 1972 for best song in the form of Issac Hayes Theme from Shaft and Richard Roundtree nominated for promising newcomer at the Golden Globe's that same year. Shaft is a private investigator hired by a crime lord in retrieving his kidnapped daughter but first he must go through many different crime syndicates before teaming up with the same baddies to kill of an even bigger foe.
