Self-titled debut album from Sergeant, released via the Belgian label Stroom. It features nine tracks of experimental art pop complete with sombre vocals and intricate lyrics, the overall atmosphere wouldn't have been out of place on Factory Benelux during the post-punk '80s. Described by the label as being a collection of dreamy and naive failed protest songs, there's an innocent and playful appeal to these tracks.
