Saundra Williams and Starr Duncan Lowe are a soulful duo who became friends when they met at an open mic night in Harlem in the '80s. More recently, they have sung backup together for Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, for the past 5 years. Now, they take centre stage as Saun & Starr with the upcoming release of their debut full-length album, 'Look Closer'.

Taken from that album is the eponomously titled 'Look Closer (Can't You See The Signs?)', a super funky, trumpet fuelled vocal stormer. On the flip is 'Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah', a sweet uplifting piece of Island soul.
