English folk rock titans Mumford & Sons announce their first new album in seven years, and their fifth altogether. Rushmere is also their first as a trio following the departure of banjoist Winston Marshall in 2021. In the intervening time, frontman Marcus Mumford has released a solo album and the band did a collaboration with Pharrell Williams in 2024. The group’s modus operandi, happily, has not changed much in that time.
