Let's not mess about...this CD is pretty fantastic! You knew it would be didn't you? Those of you who have been collecting Rick Wilhite's Vibes 12" series will know what goodness to expect. This CD compilation collects all the 12" together with most of them appearing on CD for the very first time!

Consisting of eleven tracks this CD features the cream of the crop of the Chicago and Detroit house scene. Both the usual suspects as well as some new cats come together on this project. All deliver their best work, curated courtesy of Rick Wilhite. Besides house hold names like Theo Parrish, Glenn Underground, Marcellus Pittman and Rick himself (as The Godson), new names like Ricardo Miranda, Derwyn Hall and Marc King (more or less) debut on this release. Man of the moment Kyle Hall is also featured with two tracks he did when he was only 15 and the is Vincent Halliburton, known for his release on Ferris Park. The bonus has to be the very special Urban Tribe line up: Carl Craig, Kenny Dixon, Shake and original tribester Sherard Ingram come together to create ‘First Mistake’. A special treat! Highly Recommended!
