The sophomore album from Nairobi/London-based Owiny Sigoma Band.

Owiny Sigoma Band is the result of a meeting of two worlds; Kenyan musicians Joseph Nyamungu and Charles Owoko, a Nyatiti master musician and a Luo drummer - and on the London side, brothers Jesse (Bludd Relations) and Louis Hackett, Tom Skinner aka Hello Skinny plus guitarists Sam Lewis and Chris Morphitis.

Influenced by the driving rhythms of Shangaan electro, Owiny Sigoma Band have fired up the tempos on "Power Punch" leaving you with some workable dancefloor tools, that marry the fierce Luo rhtyhmic traditions, computerised electronics and dextrous musicianship. Fun, enchanting and damn groovy.
