        Music For Turkish Theater 1970 is a recently unearthed soundtrack that American jazz trumpeter Don Cherry and Turkish percussionist Okay Temiz created for a play that American writer James Baldwin created about gay relationships in an Istanbul prison that was banned by the authorities.

        A rarely heard nugget of glorious free jazz.
