Jah Wobble returns with a new dub LP on Dimple Discs - and it's a proper low-end masterclass. A completely solo outing, written, played and arranged by the legendary East London bassist, it's a deep, heady listen steeped in the influence of Lee Perry and King Tubby - all heavy atmospheres, tactile delays and bottomless bass. It's a new release from one of dub's great outliers, with every frequency tuned for sound system clarity. 'Dub In The East' sets the tone with hypnotic simplicity, while 'Tyson Dub Remix' and 'Existential Dub' expand the palette with warped melodica, submerged vocals and Wobble's unmistakable bass lines pulsing through the mix. 'Losing All Sense Of Balance Dub' and 'Tragic Slavic Dub' are deeper still i lurching, meditative and slyly melodic. With sleeve art by Wobble himself and expert mastering by Anthony Chapman, this is a dub LP in the classic mould, but fully in Wobble's voice. A late-period gem from a true innovator i warm, weird and built for full-volume immersion.
