Released in 2012, ‘R.A.P. Music’ was the final solo album from hip-hop star Killer Mike before he found massive success with Run The Jewels in the mid-2010s. Its title a backronym for ‘Rebellious African People’, it spawned the singles ‘Big Beast’ and ‘Don’t Die’, it was produced by his future RTJ collaborator El-P and registered as a mid-career highlight for a rap stalwart.
