James Blake is back with a stronger follow up to his acclaimed self-titled debut, tending to both his classically-trained roots and love of gospel, hip-hop, R&B and UK electronic bass music in equal measures. Features collaborations with Brian Eno and RZA!

James' quivering baritone vocal, sometimes pitch-bent, echoed and weaved between layers of effects, spatial modern classical, or the post-dubstep bass-heavy world from which he first emerged. Highligts - a big fan of Digital Mystikz whose influence can be heard on "Digital Lion", a shape-shifting collaboration with genius Brian Eno, an almost techno, industrial bass-heavy roller and "Retrograde" showing off James in full soulful gospel mode, so beautiful. Wicked.
