In 1992, Glimpse Magazine was created to capture and share the emerging techno scene in Detroit, MI. It's creator, William Beaver (aka Billy Love), had a mission of sharing with the world all that was happening in the underground at that time, and provide an inside view to its readers about the blossoming culture of music, fashion, and lifestyle of Detroit techno. As an original creator of the music he interviewed the pioneering artists, designers, and founders of the scene. These original interviews and images comprised the first edition of Glimpse Magazine.

Thirty years later, we have republished this content and brought it into the current times by embedding a new, original multimedia concept. Along with interviews for the magazine Mr. Beaver also had a multimedia recording business, which allowed him to capture each moment during those times from creative sessions ranging from live events to backyard bbqs. Glimpse Interactive is the first view into this extensive basement archive, by not only republishing the existing original interviews and magazine, but adding to it a never-seen-before audio/ video experience. By embedding original interactive content, via a QR code, for the first-time readers are truly able to see, hear, and experience a GLIMPSE of the creation of the Detroit Techno underground, and the future as well.
