    Mulatu Astatke - Ethio Jazz and Musique Instrumentale 1969-1974 If you only buy one CD from the fantasic Ethiopiques series (although I've no idea why anybody would want only one...!) then make sure it's this one! This is rootsy deep jazz of the highest order as featured in Jim Jarmusch's 'Broken Flowers' film! Highly recommended!
