Robert Mugge directs this film about jazz-funk musician and poet Gil Scott-Heron. Featuring footage of Scott-Heron performing live at the Wax Museum nightclub in Washington D.C., the film looks at how the spoken word performer influenced the modern generation of hip hop, rap and R&B artists.
