Bernard Herrmann's last soundtrack is a lush film noir-esque soundscape, with beautiful sax by Tom Scott, which stands in contrast to the bleak existentialism of Martin Scorsese's gritty mid 70's New York thriller. The album also includes Robert Niro's infamous monologue, "Diary Of A Taxi Driver".
