‘Bebe Durmiendo Cumbia’, the debut 7-inch release from Breadminster County Council’s Elijah Minnelli, sees a much awaited repress in 2025. The original release set Minnelli on course to develop his signature sound, merging dub reggae with international folk melodies and rhythms.

Only 150 copies were pressed in the initial run, mainly due to the presumed lack of interest in this more leftfield approach to soundsystem music. But much to the surprise of the entire Breadminister enterprise, it sold out quickly, becoming a prized item for selectors, collectors and Discogs sharks alike.

The repress features an adapted cover design, a related cousin of sorts to the original artwork. Much like the first pressing, the sleeve has been risograph printed and painstakingly hand-assembled in Breadminster by Minnelli himself.The mixes, pressing plant and sleeve construction methodology all remain the same, making this repress a rare opportunity to own this unique 7-inch.
