"Tighten Up" was recorded... at WIRL, but the duo had to re-record the vocal track at Studio One after some kind of conflict arose during the initial session....Despite the success of "Tighten Up", the group felt Perry was not giving them adequate attention, so they moved on to work with Joe Gibbs shortly thereafter. Lee Perry's own version of "Tighten Up", "Cane River Rock" was released in Jamaica in 1974 on the Upsetter label and re-released on a 12" on a Dutch Black Art label. Lee Perry dubbed motorcycle noises and rasta dialogue with Dillinger for a song on the same rhythm about the place in JA near Bull Bay where rastas go to wash their dreads.
