A really extraordinary vocal performance from Keith 'Slim' Smith. 'The Turning Point' was originally recorded and written by Jimmy Holiday an RnB vocalist from Mississippi who recorded the original cut for the New Orleans label Minit Records. Its a great song and suits Slim Smiths vocal style perfectly. Produced by Bunny Lee and has an excellent very rare version on the flip-side. Soulful early reggae that has never been re-issued on a 45. On the Lee's label and comes in a picture sleeve bag.
