SHARON SCOTT, from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, recorded half a dozen songs for RCA Victor during her short tenure 1966-67. Sadly only one single was released at the time, “Could It Be You” (RCA 47-8907). Here we feature the original B-side, “I’d Like To Know”, the more popular of the two tracks in latter years. Of her four unreleased sessions we opt for the stunning, up tempo dancer “I’m Not Afraid”, the perfect showcase for Scott’s much undervalued talents.
