Gainsbourg goes Reggae. The year is 1979 - Gainsbourg hooks up with Sly and Robbie for his first excursion into Jamaican sound, and hires Rita Marley’s I-Threes as backing vocalists (on the classic version of the Marseillaise). A sublime double digipack set featuring the original versions by Serge Gainsbourg of his album of the same name, followed by dub versions by stalwarts of the Jamaican scene.
