Recorded in Heliopolis, Cairo circa 1973, both sides of this 45 offer up a distinctly north African take on traditional jazz sounds. "A Tribute To Sun Ra" comes across like some long lost Moondog track, full of snaketime percussion and Egyptian horns. Backed with "Latin In Cairo" a curious mix energetic, calypso / Cuban melody. Limited to 500 copies.
