      Great guitar funky jazz! As well as working in the house band at Chess records in the late 1960s, making great solo albums alongside the legendary Charles Stepney and working on Rotary Connection, Ramsey Lewis albums and many more, Upchurch also recorded this superb album for Blue Thumb in the early 70's with great versions of "Inner City Blues", "Cold Sweat" and more.
