** Debut solo project Marek 'Latarnik' Pedziwiatr — musician, composer, pianist and synth wizard; best known from his bands EABS, Bloto and work on Jaubi's 'Nafs At Peace' album!**

Influenced by the sound of solo recordings by Thelonious Monk, Ahmad Jamal, McCoy Tyner and Emahoy Tsegué-Maryam Guèbrou, Latarnik gave up electronics in order to record an intimate debut album, honouring his great-grandmother (recording a hundred-year-old Steinway & Sons grand piano on analogue tape). Deeply spiritual and emotional solo piano works from one of the leading lights of the contemporrary Polish jazz scene!
