Episode 10 in the Medicine Show series finds Madlib fashioning a mix of 60s and 70s soul and funk unlike any you've ever heard before. Madlib has travelled across so many different terrains with his Medicine Show collection, and this is the sweetest installment yet. Throughout his extensive output, Madlib has always flexed a unique power to restore and renew value in obscure sounds, and with this particular project that special skill has never been more evident.

‘Medicine Show # 10’ seeks inspiration in the likes of Don Blackman, ZZ Hill or The Sylvers, and will blow seekers away with the original work that stems from it.

Simply put, ‘Black Soul’ digs beyond deep. These crates aren’t dusty, they’re postively buried … below the surface … in the sub-soil.
