'70s Chicagoan disco dug out of Jerome Derradji's vault.
These are two versions of basically the same track, recorded nearly five years apart by Lonnie Givens, who later missed out on a deal with Curtis Mayfield's Curtom and recorded as a bassist for the Westbound label.
Both versions are killer, with a new york disco / P&P-friendly raw style - singing/chanting vocals, loads of latin percussion, understated funk and synth noodling... this is wicked.
