This record is so deep and heavy it's frightening. Deluxe gatefold double vinyl (extremely unusual for Blue Note) is final studio album recorded by jazz trumpeter Lee Morgan before his death in 1972. It features performances by Morgan, Grachan Moncur III, Bobbi Humphrey, Billy Harper (who contributes Capra Black which he also recorded for Strata East), Harold Mabern, Reggie Workman, Jymie Merritt and Freddie Waits.
