Legendary producer and electronic echo and synth pioneer Martin Hannett was fascinated as a child with Dr Who, science fiction, the BBC Radiophonic Workshop and electronic music pioneer Delia Derbyshire - who was one of the innovators at the Radiophonic Workshop.
In September 1982 Martin Hannett put together some tapes at Strawberry Studios of his synth and electronic music recordings and named the project his “Homage to Delia Derbyshire”. Now most of this material is released to the world for the first time! Limited to 300 copies, orange coloured 180g vinyl.
