Excellent Hank Mobley work from the 60s! The record is a fierce session of modal hardbop numbers, of the sort that Mobley was perfecting during this key point in his career. Lee Morgan's on trumpet, and pianist Andrew Hill makes a rare "straight" appearance on the album. Titles include "Up A Step", "Me N You", "Three Way Split", "Carolyn", and the classic "No Room For Squares".
