Falling marks the first release of the newly born label DMK Outernational aiming to focus on roots and dub music. Founded by Daddy Iriiz with protagonists from both Tunisia and Germany all working for the same objective of releasing quality roots and dub music outernationally beyond borders and frontiers.
This release took four years in the making, marked by a hiatus due to the world situation. It all started in Tunis with the inception of the tune by Daddy Iriiz. Then musician friends helped shape things and record a first draft. Medical Roots from France and Downbeat Rockers (DBR) the German roots band, took it to the next phase of proper recording in Köln, after which Rudy Roots and Bat Records contributed to the final steps of the release.
Daddy Iriiz has been pushing roots and dub music in Tunisia since the early 2000s then moved to Germany where he continues to support local soundsystems and bands there. Soundsystem culture has always been the main motor to the team who worked on Falling.
A 12’’ maxi release with an exclusive discomix. On the A side of the record a vocal from Daddy Iriiz and a deejay cut by Rudy Roots, then on the B side a horns version by Juicy Horns and a dub cut by Dr Charty from Bat Records to nice it up. Music played by Downbeat Rockers.
Coming on a 180g vinyl record with printed sleeve
