Killer mix set of African and South American-inspired music from the ex-Jurassic 5 member and award-winning turntablist Cut Chemist!

This flawless mix was performed live for Cut Chemist's opening set for Mulatu Astatke's first ever performance in LA. Created using just one turntable, one mixer, sampling loop pedal and buckets of flare and imagination!

Cut Chemist sails through Ethiopian jazz, funky afrobeat, samba-rock, jazzy bossa and more. Featuring rare and classic tunes from Fela Kuti, Oscar Sulley And The Uhuru Dance Band and many more!!! This will undoubtedly go down as one of his classic mixes alongside his now legendary collaboration with DJ Shadow on 'Brainfreeze'!!!

    Highly Recommended!
