Brixton Heights Records drops ‘This Crazy Feeling Called Love’, the new collaborative single by the Brixton Heights Crew, Kieko De Stefanis and Gaudi.Featuring Mafia & Fluxi on drum and bass respectively, Gaudi on piano and co-production, the Ital Horns on brass, N.Gatti on strings and R.Rassi on violin, this tune is set to become a serious “dancefloor masterpiece”. The brand new lyrics voiced by legendary reggae singer Peter Hunnigale are an “English re-adaptation” of an old reggae song by Italian band Sensasciou, from Genoa, originally composed by Kieko De Stefanis.
The A-Side is ‘This Crazy Feeling Called Love’ and features the sweet voice of the one and only “Mr. Honey Vibes” aka Peter Hunnigale, one of the most formidable contemporary British reggae vocalists responsible for the rise and fame of UK 80s / 90s lovers-rock, with a series of chart-topping songs and award-winning albums.
The B-Side ‘Caruggi Jazz’, is an instrumental homage to the picturesque alleys of Genoa and its unique background sound of street musicians performing in the narrow “vicoli” of the old town.
A seductive and “dub-infused” orchestral song who recalls the feeling of lovers in Genoa’s outstanding alleys, exchanging romantic effusions surrounded by this natural “filmesque” scenography.
Both tracks are mixed and co-produced by Gaudi at his Metatron Studio in London UK and mastered by Augustus "Gussie" Clarke at the Anchor Studios in Kingston Jamaica.
