A miraculous compilation of all the singles from the 70's by the North Carolina soul/funk group Brief Encounter.
Brief Encounter is a nine-member soul/funk group led by the four Bailey brothers from North Carolina. Known to soul and rare groove fans for their fantastic first album released in 1977, which was forbidden to be reissued in 2010 and is known as the Holy Grail of Soul, this album covers all the single works they left for Seventy Seven/Sound Plus and Capitol in the 70s! Plus, a groundbreaking compilation of two tracks from their reunion, one released in 2010 and the other unreleased until 2018 on UK's Athens Of The North! In the '70s, they had two songs: "Human," a great medium song that is now selling for over 30,000 yen as a Sound Plus single (1977) due to the recent popularity of modern and crossover soul, and "Where Will I Go," a sweet ballad that was included on a P-Vine compilation LP in 1988 and was unreleased at the time and became a hot topic in the lowrider community.
