SCOOPS Records announce a brand new release and a brand new collaboration. Surely we all love the sound of the sitar on a super-heavy dub beat? After an exhaustive summer festival season, it really seems this is the case with the track ’30 Strings’ causing an almighty stir whenever it was played by Vibronics throughout 2022.

Vibronics music has always been known for its unique atmosphere and layering of different sounds, so when it came to a musical collaboration, the shimmering sonics of the sitar were really a no-brainer. The beat was built to show how dub music progresses, moving forward but without forgetting its Jamaican studio roots. The B-side dub all-analogue dub mix is deep, raw and crazy and not for the faint hearted .. but it absolutely is for the Sound System.
