Long awaited second studio album from Tenderlonious led jazz outfit - Ruby Rushton!
Following on from their highly acclaimed 2015 debut album "Two For Joy" comes a new body of exciting work in the form of "Trudi's Songbook: Volume 1" with "Trudi's Songbook Volume 2" scheduled to drop later in the summer.
The album starts with “Moonlight Woman”, a song that harks back to the mid 70's Headhunters era, full of funk and flute solos. The up beat, latin grooved “Elephant & Castle” quickly follows with the first side drawing to a close with a tasteful Dilla inspired skit, “Out 2 SV”. The flip starts with a spiritual tribute to the late great Yusef Lateef followed by the hip hop inspired "Where Are You Now?" that featured as a skit on "Two For Joy".
