Truck Turner (1974) Starring Isaac Hayes, Music by Isaac Hayes

    MGM

Issac Hayes, bald, black and bad, stars as a modern day bounty hunter who works for a Bail Bondsman. Hayes and his partner are approached by a white bondsman who begs them to trace a strong-arm pimp who has skipped bail. In the hunt and chase the pimp is killed, but his girlfriend takes out a contract on Hayes with a local mobster.

This is a very entertaining film. Much sharper dialogue than lots of Black Action films. Isaac Hayes is very charismatic. Some of the stories elements appear in Tarantino's "Jackie Brown" - the bail bondsman angle. Really good!

Some of you will know the heavy, heavy funky soundtrack. Well, here's the film!
