Those crazy cats at Wah Wah Wino have recalled Officer John back into their fold for another excursion into dreamy baggy downbeat. Think Massive Attack meets Erika De Casier with a bit of a Manchester's rain-soaked gloom and melanchly. Proper songs, high fidelity production. It kinda eschews the usual Wah Wah Wino tomfoolery for something, dare-I-say, more slightly accessible and (HEAVEN FORBID)... commercial? It's certainly a triumph by Officer John. Includes a suitably baggy Morgan Buckley re-work n all. Top stuff.
