Dennis Brown was a Jamaican reggae singer and one of the most popular artists in the history of Jamaican recorded music.
Bob Marley cited Brown as his favourite singer, dubbing him “The Crown Prince of Reggae”, and Brown would prove influential on future generations of reggae singers. In 2023, Rolling Stone ranked Brown at number 67 on its list of the 200 Greatest Singers of All Time.
