    Rockers (1977) 25th Anniversary Edition

    Wienerworld

ESSENTIAL!!! On it's release at the Cannes Film Festival in the late-1970s, Rockers was reviewed in Le Monde as "this is not a film, this is... cinema". Featuring Leroy 'Horsemouth' Wallace, Gregory Isaacs, Burning Spear, Robbie Shakespeare, Joe Gibbs, Theo Beckford, Leroy Smart and about a million other people you want to see! This is a fictional film based around the Kingston music scene. The opening shot features The Abyssinians and The Sons of Negus singing "Satta Massa Gana" with just voices and drums in the hills of Kingston and it gets even better as it goes on. This film is AMAZING! New edition features 5.1 Sound and lots of new bonus material and extras.
