    • 2. Used To Be My Dread

More double-A-side lovers rock action with two reggae covers by Sonia Ferguson on 12" with both tracks mastered from original studio tapes: Sonia’s ‘Love Don't Live Here Anymore’ cover of Rose Royce’s 1978 classic, coupled with her ‘Use To Be My Dread’ adaptation of O’Jays crossover hit the same year with ’Use Ta Be My Girl’. Backing musicians on both cuts include Lloyd Parks and Sly Dunbar, who sessioned for D-Roy whilst on tour in the UK with We The People Band in 1978, along with Dennis Bovell and others on-set. Whilst ‘Love Don’t Live Here Anymore’ has been a popular want amongst collectors, the heavyweight dub half of ’Use To Be My Dread’ can finally gain the wider attention it deserves from new listeners who might otherwise have missed it.
