Originally recorded in 1995 at Tokyo's famed Liquid Room, the mix sees Mills' legend as The Wizard - a title he earned on Detroit radio in the 80s for his lightning-fast blends and daring track selections. Across this mix, he threads his own iconic productions like 'Step to Enchantment', 'Humana' and 'Casa' through records by rising innovators like Surgeon, Claude Young, Ken Ishii and The Advent. What sets this mix apart is its raw vinyl manipulation as composition. Each segue feels like an act of architecture, every crossfade a spark of invention.
