“Inspiración, Espiración” is an album by Gotan Project, originally released in 2004.

Philippe Cohen Solal came up with the idea for this compilation, during the band’s first tour (2001-2003), which includes four original Gotan Project tracks, unreleased remixes, and bold musical crossovers: the hip-hop of Antipop Consortium, the high-energy house of Peter Kruder, the deep techno of Pepe Bradock, and Calexico’s musical take on wide-open landscapes.

All of this is seamlessly connected through an inspired sound design mix that blends radio voices, historical archives, and field recordings captured by Philippe in Buenos Aires.

To celebrate the project’s 20th anniversary and on the occasion of Record Store Day, Gotan Project is releasing a very special vinyl edition with an alternative gold artwork, featuring an original mix and an exclusive edit of “Tríptico (Peter Kruder Trip De Luxe)."
