Keith Rowe is the Keith of Keith And Tex. They had a massive hit with 'Stop That Train' produced by Derrick Harriott. That was the Rock Steady era. By the mid-seventies Keith was solo and did a nice recut of 'Tonight' recorded in America and produced by himself.
A move back to Jamaica - connected him up with Lee Perry. Old Scratch was making a name for himself again and was involved in a three way studio battle with Channel One and Joe Gibbs - looking for a new sound. Keith's 'Groovy Situation' was one a great example of this. Although it seems it never gained a release in Jamaica.
