      This release presents the original 1962 LP 'Go, Mon Go!' by Cuba's legendary percussionist Mongo Santamaria, most famously known for his international hit 'Watermelon Man' by Herbie Hancock.

      Notable musicians on this album are reedman Pat Patrick of Sun Ra Orkestra fame, and pianist Chick Corea, just 21 years old and making his official album recording debut.
