Japanese musician Tomo Katsurada and Estonian composer Misha Panfilov might come from very distant parts of the world, but through the music on this new album, they find great intuitive dialogue. It's work of loose songwriting structures and unforced instrumental interactions where guitar, keys and soft percussion sit in lightly layered. Melodic lines drift on 'Boundless', which has a psyched-out 60s guitar element and on 'Fantastic World', there is a more global outlook with an Eastern hypnosis and shimmering keys. 'Mosaic Memory' is a hazy ambient soundscape with a distant steel drum rippling through the mix and 'Hundreds Spirits' brings hushed vocal whispers. An escapist trip through myriad sound worlds.
